removing friend from friends list

hi im having issues trying to remove [GT Removed] - Do not name and shame on the forums. off my friends list but an error keeps popping up I have tried deleting it from the xbox and on a computer I can delete other people except this person

Xbox one preview update has deleted my friends list

Try removing your account from your xbox then adding yourself back on. It will fetch your friends data from the cloud and should refresh your friends list.

 

Possible to turn OFF Beacon notifications?

I've ended up removing people from my friends list that use beacons. I also find them annoying.

that's indeed a curious issue, I would like to ask you to refrain from mentioning other players GT's in this thread though, If an enforcement team member is needed you can PM them the Gamertag if necessary.

now, if I may ask, what kind of error pop up is displaying when you try to remove the friend?

 

It keeps saying can't complete process right now try xbox.com and I tried on the computer but nothing I even called Microsoft but they had fill out forum here but we tried yesterday but nothing even tried avoiding player but nothing

Could you try the following steps:

1. Delete your Xbox Live Profile (Make sure to click "Delete profile only")
   
2. Clear the System Cache
   
3. Restart your Xbox 360 console
4. Re-download your Xbox Live Profile

Note - You can always ask him/her to remove you from his/her friends-list, Maybe that will work.

follow these steps:

1. Restart your console.
2. Sign in using your Xbox LIVE-enabled gamertag.
3. Ask someone from your friends list to delete you from his or her friends list.
   
4. Send a new friend request to the same person.
   
5. Sign out of Xbox Live, and then sign in to Xbox Live again. Then Try Remove the Gamer-tag you`ve been trying to remove from your Friends-List.

Did this ever get resolved? We're having the same problem.. A gamer just appeared in our friend list today, we didn't invite nor ask them. Now we can't get rid of them. Keep getting the same error as mentioned above. Very frustrating!
