Removing ads and suggestions & make dashboard better

I've been using my Xbox one since I got it in 2013 and recently upgraded to an Xbox one x this year. I've been very loyal to this ecosystem and play almost all of my games here along with paying my yearly subscription for Xbox live as I find it the best
place to play.

However I'm forced to seeing advertisements and suggestions on my dashboard even though I'm paying for the yearly subscription. Is there a way i can remove these ads from the home page? They make the whole dashboard feel cluttered and irritating to use.
This includes the "tips" "friends playing" "featured" categories that feel intrusive. If there isn't a way to get rid of it, can we start a petition because I don't think anyone likes it. If you aren't willing to remove ads from the dashboard, can you at least
make it an option to make "the my games and apps" pre launched when i turn on my xbox? There seems to be no point for the home screen now.

Just wow... so many bad ideas and 'features' to choose from here.

they need to remove all policys and make it like the good old days on the 360 . I dont want kinect either , i dont wanna pay for it and i dont wanna talk to it or be spyed by it . Not to mention that the ps4 has better hardware and it doesnt have all those
annoying ads on the dashboard . No matter what , im buying a ps4 this time , ive been using xbox since 2008 , i need something new , something better , better looking and better performing device

 

Europe getting less for their money

You know, since we get less content they should just remove those annoying ads at least. Would make me feel just a bit better about it.

Why would anyone ask for advertisements to take up space on the screen as well as slow down the entire UI? I belivebelivebyou arent tellung the truth there.

 

He is actually telling the truth. When new features are tested via Xbox Insider program, they will often gain feedback from the quests. Feedback is a large part of the Insider process.

Remember this, you can't please all of the people, all of the time.
