Removing a report filed by myself

Hello, first of all apologies if this is in the wrong place as I didn't know where else to ask. So my issue is that I reported someone for something that is pretty bad to do anywhere in the world, and then after a while of back and forth messaging the person
,x, finally revealed themselves to me. As it turned out x was a friend of mine who thought it was funny to send the inappropriate messages to me. After I had discovered who hey were it was already too late and the (descriptive/detailed)
report had already been sent.

So what I`m basically asking is: Is there a way to remove the report sent/filed on person ,x,?

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Banned for Cheating and Communication, but without proof/reason

Bans are not issued just by a certain number of reports.It only takes one valid report & each report is investigated by a person

You can have 100 reports filed against you,if you have done nothing wrong then you will not be banned/suspended.

Complaint/Report wrongly filed.

My son was playing MW3 online today, and reported my dad for exploiting, when he didn't know what he was doing. IT was filed from my account, gamertag , against gamertag
ghostwolf3n. He is only 8 and thought he was paying ghostwolf3n a compliment. I have handled the situation with him, but request to have the complaint ignored or cancelled.

He said he went to report player then exploiting from within the game.

Nothing you can do.

Doesn't matter if the messages were meant as a joke,if the enforcement team judge that they violated the ToU/CoC then your friend will receive enforcement action

With friends like you who needs enemies?

You ever think of just giving them a friendly heads up that something in their profile could be against some TOS rule? Sure they are responsible for knowing all that but, after all, they are supposed to be you're 'friends' and not just random people. There
really aren't many things I can think of that I would find so offensive I have to hurry up an report it. Especially from a friend. But maybe I just choose the company I keep more carefully.

I find it sad some people get their jollies off of just getting others in trouble. To a point where they don't even care about the rule, just getting people in trouble for it.

OP.... If something should happen (I doubt it will) You now have this thread to prove it was a possible mistake!!!! I wouldn't worry much though. Just like rating, reporting yourself has failsafes. Then again, some forums alow reporting yourself but,
I still wouldn't worry to much.... GOOD LUCK!!!!!
