Removed a person off of Friendslist...

I removed a person off of my friendslists, yet sometimes when I am online I see this person 'log-on' as if he was still on my friendslist. I have tried the support chat to no avail. Xbox Support told me to go to the Enforcement United page which did not
help because there is no forum or way to contact anyone about this issue, so I came here to hopefully get this resolved. Earlier today this persons gamertag popped up as it has before and he sent me an Xbox live party invite. To which I opened the message
and blocked communications. I have done this before to no avail. How is it even possible to be on this persons Friendslist when I removed him?

Categories for friendlist

Is it possible to organize my contacts in the friendslist in categories. For example, Person x into Red Dead Redemption as we met there. Person X in Aliens Versus Predator becuase we met there. Persons x, x and x in "RDR Co OP" as we are a team. Is this
possibly? So far i've only seen that i can organize after onlinestatus.

Friendslist

Yeah Microsoft mentioned raising the Friend's List cap above 100 when they shut down Xbox Originals LIVE, but they haven't spoken of any updates in that department since. Personally I'd rather have them working on cooler projects like the dashboard update
instead of raising the Friend's List cap, but it would still be a welcome addition.

Support were wrong for sending you to enforcement united. The regular support chat/phone chat are quite clueless about this issue. This guy is not hacking you. The unfortunate truth is that this problem you are having is part of a much larger problem that
other people are having right now including me. What is happening is that you deleted him but you are still on his friends list even though he is still taking up a space on your list. Say you have 100 friends. If you delete a person, you cannot add someone
else because it is full. The only way to properly remove him is if he also removes you from his list. You will also most likely have issues adding new people as well (you will appear on their friends list but they will appear pending on yours). I don't know
how you blocked him though because this issue cause difficulties blocking people as well.

Thank you for your reply. As I had mentioned in the OP, I did try blocking communications and that did not work. Only just today did I try blocking communications again. I will message this person to see if he will remove me from his Friendslist.

I apologise, I seem to have misread your post. Well seeing as you also cannot block this person, this issue fits your description perfectly. Yes, I suppose you could message him but if he doesn't delete you there is not much else to do really. It is really
annoying because if you don't like someone you literally have to ask their consent to remove them. And you can't block them either so they could spam you and annoy you. And they could view your profile like a friend but you couldn't view theirs like a friend.
So depending on privacy settings he could see your friends list but you could not see his etc. In future I would suggest not deleting someone and instead ask them to delete you. If they refuse, as I said there is not much you can do but at least you can still
view their profile like they could view yours so they couldn't 'stalk' you.

A hard reset (holding the power button for ~10 seconds, waiting until the power supply light turns orange, and then turning the console back on) is probably what Artemis was referring to, as a normal reboot may not help. I could be wrong though, just my
2 cents.
