Remove xbox one "preview" registration

I would like to remove "preview updates" from my xbox one account. Due to usage internet usage limitations, I can't afford to perform a 1.9gb update every week. I have gone into the preview registration app but it is only giving me the to "join"

Remove xbox one "preview" registration

You'll need to create a new thread in the forums linked above asking to remove your console if you cannot do so from the beta dashboard app.

Be aware that if you do request to be removed during a preview phase you will continue to receive updates until the current preview phase has been fully released to the public.

 

You need to take the "preview dashboard app" not the "registration app".

In the dashboard preview app you will find a tab called registration. There you can change the status of your console.

Please be aware that it may take until the current wave has gone public before you will be released from the program as it is not possible to be released during a running wave. Until the october update goes public you will be shown as "unenroll pending".

Btw... the last updates were all around 280 MB and not 1.9GB. This big update was an exception with the september update.
