Remove Xbox from Insider Program

I recently bought an Xbox One S second hand and am facing a boot up error, e200.

Despite following all guides and trying to update from OSU1, it continues to fail. I believe this is because the xbox is enrolled in the Insider Program. I cannot un-enroll it, as I bought it second hand.

Is there a way to remove this Xbox with the serial number from the insider program?

If you did not enrol the console in the Xbox Insider program can you please install the Xbox Insider Hub app on the console. Once you have installed this app on the left can you select Setting > Manage Devices and you should be able to remove the console
from the Insider Program yourself.

 

Why so many updates?

Hi, that looks like your Xbox is enrolled into the Insider update program. If you want to reduce the amount of updates you receive you can change to a lower update ring in the Insider app or remove your Xbox totally from the Insider program.

Unfortunately, I cannot remove it from the insider program myself as it was not under my xbox live account, it was under the precious owners, whom I bought the xbox from. I cannot boot into the dashboard either as I am getting the E200 boot error. If I
was able to boot into the xbox OS, I could possibly unenroll the device from there.

Is there a way to unenroll the device using the Xbox serial number?

The error "E200" is part of the system update error, and I do recommend to update the console.

The way to remove the insider program linked to the console is to do a
Full console reset.

This will reset the program information linked to the console and set it to a default.

Make sure you know your email and password linked to the account so you don't lose them.
