Remove store account

I have just set up a new pc and installed the XBOX (beta) app. The app automatically signed in as my windows (outlook) account. However, my xbox account "Gaming account" is a different email address. I have subscribed to game pass ultimate, but as the app
has signed me in as my windows account as the "Store Account" I don't have access to my subscription. There does not appear to be anyway to remove/edit/change the store account.

I want to change my Store account to my xbox Gaming account.

I have tried resetting/uninstalling the app but it still automatically has me signed in as my windows account as store account no matter what I do.

Help Pls.

Windows reinstall it is. I know the app is in beta, but its pretty [Mod removed- profanity]

I want to keep my windows account (work emails) intact on my pc - there is no option to remove/change within the xbox beta app, so that account will still be logged in if there is no way to change it.

this also didnt happen on my old pc with the exact same setup (windows account signed into pc, could still sign in with gaming account when I first installed the app)

You need to create a new Windows account on your PC and use your Xbox account credentials

If that isn't your primary work PC, and it's "just" about the emails of your work account, do the following:

Change your Windows account to a local account to disconnect your account from your work email.

Then connect your Windows account with your Xbox account.

In the account settings, then add your work email as a secondary account. Add your work account to the email app as well.

That way you will have access to your Game Pass subscription and Play Anywhere titles on your PC, and keep access to your work emails and other work related account stuff.
