Remove payment option

    How do I remove my credit card information from my account?

    Every time I find an option under billing that says "Remove payment option" it redirects me to this page.

    support.xbox.com/.../remove-xbox-live-payment-option

    There is no "Payment & billing" option. And when ever I click billing, then remove payment option, I'm sent back to the link above.

    Remove payment option

    What error are you getting ?

    If it is you are suspended for payment option then you must solve the payment option issue with another payment method and prepaid cards don't work

    It also can't be removed if an active membership is on the card

    you Will have to call support to remove it after turning off autorenewal

    If there isn't an active membership on it you can goto ecommerce.Microsoft.com to remove it

    That card as been canceled and was the card set as my payment option. Every time I start up xbox and sign in it tells me that it needs to be updated and I just want it removed. I already stopped auto renewal. I didn't really want to call to get it removed
    so I posted on the forum in hopes of it getting removed that way. and yes I still have gold it renewed a few weeks before the card was canceled. So the only way to get it removed is to call them?

    Removing Payment Options?

    As long as it's attached to an active gold account, you can't remove a payment method.

    You have to call support and have them turn off auto renewal.

    The thing is that I want remove the payment option completely but it says I can`t do this until I add new payment option and because my debit card is associated with my membership which is still active,but I don`t want to add it because I don`t want to continue
    to loose the money again.So what you can do to help me?
