Remove old console showing as available to install on

The device might still be registered on your Microsoft devices list. Check on here

https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/devices If it is, then un-register the device, and hopefully it should no longer show up on your list of devices to install to.

If console, go to my games and apps - is it installed or listed there as available to install?

If PC, load it up in the Windows store - does it show purchased?

I've tried this but on the new Xbox one s the ready to install doesn't show any of my purchased downloaded games that are available on my old Xbox one s.

It may show your game available and already purchased on your Mobile device. Then you can install it on your console.

You can never "delete" your profile. You can remove it from the old console, by deleting the GT from the HDD. You will still be able to recover, redownload, and use it on other consoles, even on the old console. When you delete a profile from the console,
that is all it does, removes that info from the console so it cannot be accessed from that console unl;ess nit is redownloaded on it. It dies NOT remove the GT from MS's systems. They will have the most up to date copy of your GT a;ways available.
