Remove my real name from Xbox dashboard/gamercard?

Hello,

The other day I decided to try out the Gears of War 4 trial. When I played versus, I was able to view other player's gamercards. When I viewed my own, I was surprised to see my real name was showing! I tried editing both my Microsoft and Xbox accounts, but
my real name still appears.

How do I properly remove my name?

Adding two cents, and I agree with Smwitches.

Your real name, or whatever you decide to put as your real name will typically always be visible to yourself located next to your gamertag. However, based on privacy settings others may or may not be able to see it, again this depends on the settings.

You can even set specific permissions for specific friends on your friends list and allow certain people to see it and others not to.

If you go to the home screen and with your privacy settings from your profile card it should be there.

You may still be able to see it, but others may not. If you feel like posting your gamertag, I can check it for you, or you can feel free to message me on Live. My gamertag is the same as my display name here.

There isn't an explicit option that says "Remove Real Name", but there is an option that says:

"Others can see your Xbox profile details: Decide who can see your Xbox profile bio and location."

Is this is it?

Because if so, I selected Blocked and I can still see my real name on my gamercard
