Remove My Gamertag from friend list of My old Friend

Hello. I hope asked my question in right place. as I said in subject , I want to remove my gamer tag from list of my old friend.so I want to know how can I do it? do I need send request to specific department? He(my friend) didn't want to remove it so I
just want to send request to right section of Microsoft to do that for me.

Xbox.com friends lists of xbox friends shows my name

Few weeks ago was looking at friends list of my friends and under my gamertag it shows my name which is ridiculous. How can I remove it? No one else has there full name showing and I checked other friends friends lists too.

Friends list is gone?

ive recover my friend list with older gamertag save on other hdd . maybe xbox.com will show you if your friend list are gone or not ?

If his gamertag is listed on your friends list simply remove it. That will remove your tag from his list as well.

If you don't want to be contacted by him again then you can also Avoid then Block him while on his Bio.

The note in step 3 is my problem. The gamertag has not been removed.

1.To return to the Home screen, press the Xbox button on your controller, or say “Xbox, go home.”

2.Go to the Friends hub on the right and select the Friends tile.

3.Select Friends or Recent players, and then select the gamertag that you want to block.

Note If you block a gamertag in your Friends list, that gamertag is removed from the list.

4.Select Report or block, and then select Block from the list.

Me either it actually made it worse, my old gamertag that I paid for is showing up still and it shows for all of my friends on friends list. And when I look at my account it says my old gamertag then my new gamertag below it but smaller.

Ok George that’s answered that then and thanks for making me aware of it , I’m one of my own friends somehow new gamertag has old gamertag as a friend 🤔 on friends list with avatar and bio 🙄. Appreciate your reply and I’ll now delete myself from myself lol 😂. Thanks G
