I'm a PC gamer at heart so I am trading a friend my xbox one for a plow setup (dang snow again). I just bought Xbox Live Gold 2 months ago and would like to know if there is some way that I can transfer it to him? I won't have a use for XBOX LIVE since
I'm going back to PC only Far Cry 4 on Ultra is just too awesome

You should try removing your profile off your console and signing back into it. Here is info on how to remove your profile:

I cant remove payment details or turn off auto renewal.

I want to remove my dad's credit card from the system as it is about to expire and I just bought a 12 month gold membership from Game. The problem is; when I try to remove the credit card, it displays: "Can't retrieve information from Xbox LIVE. Please try
again later. Status code: 80162765" When I try to remove it using Xbox.com, it tells me that "An outstanding balance exists on this payment instrument." So I tried to turn off auto-renewal, but it just said "An error occurred cancelling automatic renewal."

I need help ASAP.

also wondering if he will be able to keep my DLC's...I guess it's more like transferring my account cept it uses the same email as my windows live so I can't just let him take over my email. Since that email is kind of the center of my PC life (facebook,
windows live, etc).

Nothing can be transferred between accounts. However, if you have the console set as your Home console, he should be able to access your content as well as your gold subscription.

If you're selling the console, you can just delete your profile from it before you sell it so no one else can use your account. The card is attached to your account, not the console.

You can't remove a payment method while it's attached to an active gold subscription. You would have to contact support and have them cancel your subscription so you can remove it.

This is [Mod Removed] rediculous, today i went to the store to buy a new xbox live gold membership.

The lady on the counter said "I believe they use cash now" so i bought a card from 25euro's. I redeemed it, guess what i can't buy
