Remove home Xbox account off refurbished Xbox

Get ridiculous error after trying to remove my 'home' xbox. Its not my home xbox and there's no way to remove it remotely. This is something Microsoft should offer for security's sake. This Xbox was apparently refurbished but still included my account as
home xbox. I need to remove this now.

First time posting here .
So recently i bought a used xbox one with few digital games in it playable off course. As i have learned that I am able To play these games because seller has this xbox as his home console, even though there was mo sign in .
So ya , i now want to remove his account completely from this Xbox even though i will not be able
To play his games anymore.
So how to remove his home account from this xbox one? And creat
My new home account?

that is how you get it off the xbox, that's the only thing you need to do or can do. you have no further access to his account. you delete the profile. it's their home xbox, not that they own the xbox, that's not how it works. think of it as your prefered xbox, not as a sign of ownership.

Did you set this new console as your home Xbox? Let's try to remove and add your account again and set this Xbox as your home console.

Remove account:

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select Profile & system > Settings > Account > Remove accounts.

Select the account that you want to remove, and then select Remove to confirm.

After that, let's Power Cycle your console:

Press the power button for 10 seconds until Xbox completely turns off.

Remove all the cords/cables and wait 5 minutes.

After 5 minutes, plug all the cables back in and turn your Xbox on again.

Add your account again:

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select Profile & System > Add or switch > Add new.

Enter the email address for the Microsoft account that you want to add, and then select Enter.

Then, set this Xbox as your home console:

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select Profile & system > Settings > General > Personalization, and then select My home Xbox.

Select Make this my home Xbox.

The Home Xbox will only be removed on a device if we set it as Home Xbox again. It’s not normal for an account to be removed on a device without any changes.

I have done this on both consoles and it already was my home Xbox. I honestly am in the dark at this point as how the Xbox one is able to play the DLC and the game digitally but not the Series X.

i bought a refurbished xbox one and its all okay (i have not discs) but i have CoD AW in my account.

But the point here is that my refurbished xbox one comes with a warranty that says refurbished xbox 360. is that okay? what would i do?
