If you buy before it leaves ir stays on your hdd and you get a gamepass discount for it too.

Games on Games Pass, Game Pass for PC or Game Pass Ultimate are only on there for a set time, then they are removed from the service. You do not get to keep them. Just think of it as the Netflix for games. When the games are removed from the service, then
you have to manually remove them from your Xbox. You can however purchase any of the games at a discount if you want to keep them. The games you have purchased will still be yours even after they are removed from game pass.

After it's removed from game pass you would need to purchase it to keep playing the same game, Sorry that's the way the game pass system works.

It's like renting all the games on the game pass but soon as it's removed from that you would either have to move on to a different game or purchase the game you enjoyed from game pass to continue

That game was removed from Game Pass a while ago. It's not currently included with Game Pass.
