Remove from Xbox preview program

Hey there OwnedGenie.

We've reached out to the preview team and your console should now be removed from the preview program. Because your console has been receiving preview updates it will factory reset, but you will no longer be receiving preview updates. Thanks for your patience

Hi OwnedGenie you may find you will still receive a few more preview updates as I think the removal process will not complete this update is released to everyone.

Yeah I've read this may be a possibility but being removed is the best that can be done for now. Seeing as my console has been reset to factory settings and the previous updates have been removed I'm unsure as to whether I may receive the preview updates.

I guess I will see haha.

gds1972 - We ensured for this process and customer that the console is removed immediately. If we had simply unenrolled it, it would have waited. Genie should have no more updates until they are released to public.

You have to use the registration app on your Xbox One to be removed from the preview program. Be advised this will remove you from all future previews, but you will remain in the current wave.

The agreement they signed when signing up to the preview prohibits the selling of the console with preview access.

I agree with you Genesis, I'm sick of having to download all these updates every time i turn my console on and now I've have to deal with it using my broadband and hard drive space until an expert replies to me.
