Remove EA Account linked with XBL Profile

But can EA even remove the achievements from my XBL profile? I was under the assumption that once the achievement is posted to the profile it becomes stored on the XBL server.

That is correct to the best of knowledge that EA's Account have been Comprised. If your WLID was the same and Password the same, this made a very easy target to Recover your XBL Profile. I would in addition to contacting XBL Support
also EA Support.

I am a little curious in regards to "how" EA Accounts are becoming Compromised. It seemed at first it might have been an XBL Profile with no EA Account attached. I'm guessing something along the lines of EA Support might be a little gullible when a Persona
is added to an EA Account? How exactly this gains Access to a WLID, I'm not sure?

Either way, a separate Email for your WLID and only use that Password for your WLID, along with never giving it to any one is always the best route.

It'd only be linked to that if you used the same log in details for both your EA account and your XBL account. If so then you've learned a harsh lesson about doing such things, if not then it wasn't that which resulted in your XBL account going walkies.

It may mean that your Xbox profile is not linked successfully to your EA profile. That may cause an issue but the important thing here to fix it is to link your Xbox profile to your EA Account.

On your EA Desktop App kindly click on the "friends" tab and then "import friends", choose the Xbox Live icon, and make sure to sign in on your correct Microsoft account. This should be like your Xbox profile and EA account.
