Remove disc from Xbox (with no power)

I have to send in my Xbox, as it will no longer power up. However I can not get the disc out (for the game I was playing when it shut off). I stuck a paperclip in the manual eject hole as instructed, but that did nothing.

Does anyone have advice for me on how exactly I am to get out the disc before shipping off the console?

    :)

There is a reliable fix. Remove the disc or any disc from your xbox if there is one in there. Next turn off the xbox and remove all of the cords from the back of the xbox. With everything unplugged, hold the power button/light for about 10 seconds. Then
plug everything back in, power cord last. Finally, turn on your system and try the game.

Problems with download call of duty ghost on xbox one

Hi, give this a try please, the Xbox One will need to be powered up.

    -

Remove any disc from the disc drive. Press and hold the xbox button on the console for 10 seconds, the console will power off, remove the power cable from the console, wait 30 seconds and then reconnect the power cable, power on your xbox one using the xbox
button on the console, power up your controller then try your game please

Thats the only way to get it out. please follow the instructions carefully:
    support.xbox.com/.../manually-eject-disc

You will of course need some slightly force to have the disc slip out, so if you feel some resistance while sticking in the paperclip don't stop. Remember you have to move the eject mechanism manually.

If you feel unsure about the amount of force to use, you may try the same procedure at the drive of your PC. There is a whole under the tray to stick in the paperclip.Push it until the tray opens. This should give you an idea on how hard you have to push
    the mechanism on the One.

Black screen while game is loading!!!

Remove the disc (if it's a disc version) from the console. Hold the power button down for 8 seconds until the Xbox powers itself down. Unplug the power from the wall after shutdown and wait 30 seconds. Plug the console back in and hold the power and eject
button for ten seconds to power it up. Insert disc (if it's a disc copy) and it should get past the black screen.
