As far as messages, you'd need to set your privacy settings so that only friends can message you.

Hi,

Having the Xbox app on Windows 10 you can enjoy the following:

• Party chat
• Game streaming from Xbox One to Windows 10
• View your account achievements
• Cross-device multiplayer

To uninstall the Xbox app on your computer, kindly perform the steps below:

1. Click Start > All apps > Windows PowerShell.
2. Right-click Windows PowerShell and click More > Run as Administrator.
   
3. In the Windows PowerShell window, copy and paste the following command: Get-AppxPackage *xboxapp* | Remove-AppxPackage
4. Restart your device so that the changes can take effect.

If you wish to reinstall the Xbox app, all you have to do is to search the Xbox app from the Windows Store.

Whenever you have more than 1 storage device available it will always ask that question. There is no way to disable that other than removing one of the storage devices, in this case, disabling cloud storage.
