Remove a Family Account

Discus and support Remove a Family Account in XBoX Accessibility to solve the problem; I am trying to remove a family member that I added from my account so I can add it to another Parent Account.     Remove a Family Account


    I am trying to remove a family member that I added from my account so I can add it to another Parent Account. The Family account page won't let me do that, saying that only an Adult account that granted consent for that account to join the family group can do that, but I AM the Adult account that added the child account to my family group. It makes no sense, if I am not the adult account, then I don't know who is because I never used any other account to add the child account into my family group, if it's already part of my family group I should be able to remove it too, but it doesn't let me, nor does it let me remove myself from the family group either. I don't understand what is going on here, something as simple as removing a child account from your family group SHOULD NOT be this difficult! Please help me this is very aggravating!

    Profiles do not have access to Xbox Live

    Go to settings/accounts/remove accounts. Remove the profile that is having trouble accessing Live.

    The go to setting/account/family/add to family.

    Hi AngeloLamouroux, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

    If you're a member on a family group you will not be able to manage the family settings, you will be able to if you're the organizer so please sign in to https://account.microsoft.com/family and check if you're an organizer or not.

    Hi Francia. Thanks for the help, but my brother already fixed the problem for me. Apparently all I had to do is go into my member's account and remove consent options, then remove the account.
