Removal of Achievements

I know this is a topic that comes up a lot and the general consensus seems to be will never happen. I've been giving some additional thought to this and have more ideas.

I agree that giving users the option to delete achievements would be bad and should probably never happen. Imagine all the ensuing problems of people wanting to undo what they deleted. It would never end.

What I think instead, an xbox player should be able to contact a 'designated technical department' to do it for you, and request which game with which achievements they want to see gone, and to also provide some reasoning as to why. People shouldn't try
to do it willy nilly for not much reason.

There are actually good reasons for wanting achievements gone, or just not visible. A high completion ratio is important to me. I know it doesn't affect anything and no one is looking at my achievements and judging. I know that. But I can see them! I can
see them and that's enough to bug me.

A complication could be it means you can never re-earn those achievements again on that game. But if you want it gone that badly then I don't see that being a problem. And deducting from total gamerscore is nothing more or less than simple math.

Not being able to progress a game further is my main reasoning for wanting this. Whether the server has been discontinued etc etc.

I have GTA IV PC with 15/1500 stuck on my profile like a god awful stain. I have some other games on 1 or 2 % but at least I know I can always try to advance them further on a rainy day.

But thanks to GTA IV and steam, and games for windows live being discontinued, I can never advance it further. Unless someone wants to tell me how I can.

PC isn't official xbox platform so that's also why I want it gone. I'm OCD and I'm sure other gamers out there are too. I have put long, hard hours into completing games %100 and I feel it's being squandered by the likes of GTA IV PC.

It doesn't even have to be deleted per say, it could even just be hidden. I would be happy for it to just be hidden from view.

Please no-one talk about how you can hide a game if achievements are at %0. I am well aware of this, and aware it's not actually deleting, just hiding from view.

Can this same feature not be extended to games %1 or above. But like stated above, upon request. Maybe some kind of two factor check process. Can't see it being that hard.
