    Remote play - Xbox Series X to PC HELP


    Hey gamers, I am in need of some help on this matter. Your input is greatly appreciated.

    I looking to play remotely on PC with the Xbox Series X. ( Potential graphic card work around for streaming). As far as I know, the team at Microsoft is still working on the remote play to pc via Xbox app, for the Series X. It has been some time that I have not heard what the progress on that is, any updates are appreciated.

    Method A)

    There was a windows test app (beta) that was downloadable:

    That link will send you to a process where you can get the beta, which I picked up via:

    1. Go to https://store.rg-adguard.net/
    2. Put "https://www.microsoft.com/es-en/p/xbox-game-streaming-test-app/9nzbpvpn…" into the search field and press enter
    3. Select the package labeled "Microsoft.XboxGameStreaming-ContentTest_1.2011.301.0_neutral_~_8wekyb3d8bbwe.appxbundle"

    Unfortunately the application had many flaws and did not stream very well, and eventually stopped working. I am no longer able to download the test app now also. Any updates on this?

    Method B)

    There is an Android emulator called Bluestacks. This method would mimic a mobile device on a pc to run remote play. After installing Bluestacks, then the Xbox app on the emulator, I was able to run the remote play option for the Series X. Unfortunately this stopped working also. As far as I know, its due to the coding process being different. However I can still stream to my phone. Any updates on this?

    I decided to pray but that did not work, but then I thought why not ask Reddit. So... Any suggestions?

    Supported device Xbox One S/X for remote play on PC.

    Series X/S not available in Beta app.

    Xbox Series X and S are out of luck for now.

    Hello jcleigh, just to make clear what this is about, are you trying to stream from Xbox to PC on the same network, are you trying to remotely play xbox through your mobile phone or are you trying to play Xcloud?
    The OP is trying to use Remote Play between their PC and their Series X using the PC Xbox App:

    They have tried to use remote play with their Android Device and it worked fine

    Then remote.play wont work

    Remote play ala xcloud is only available on gamepass ultimate

    Game.streaming.via.the xbox companion app requires a xbox

    Keep in mind you can't.use.the.xbox while you are.using.the wireless gamestreaming
    Huh? Remote Play is nothing to do with Xcloud or Game Pass. And if it won't work, then how can they get it working on their Android device? And they have an Xbox so that's not the issue.

    They are trying to Remote Play their Series X games from their Series X console to their PC via the Remote Play feature and using the Xbox App. This should work without an issue, as it does with their Android device. There is nothing on the Remote Play page to suggest Game Pass is needed

    If you have a series x then you can remote play on your pc as long as your console is on as long as the games are installed on the console
