Remote play when you use game pass on the PC?

Remote play is only available on Xbox consoles, meaning that I can remote play games that might not be on Game Pass but be a part of my library via the Xbox app on PC. There is no PC remote streaming to another device on Windows laptops or tablets. For PC and Console users, we have games that are part of Cloud streaming, and some of those games provide Xbox Cloud saves and are Cloud-enabled, meaning that if you started it on PC, you could access your save data on the cloud version via the Xbox App or xbox.com/play. For example, I can start a game of Halo Master Chief collection or Doom Eternal via the Cloud, and then when I play it at home on my desktop, I can access my save and continue to play from where I left off. Remote play ala xcloud is only available on gamepass ultimate

Huh? Remote Play is nothing to do with Xcloud or Game Pass. And if it won't work, then how can they get it working on their Android device? And they have an Xbox so that's not the issue.

They are trying to Remote Play their Series X games from their Series X console to their PC via the Remote Play feature and using the Xbox App. This should work without an issue, as it does with their Android device. There is nothing on the Remote Play page to suggest Game Pass is needed

I understand you need help playing your console on PC.

Just a heads up, you cannot use your Xbox console to play on PC if you are to use the HDMI because they are different platforms. You can only use HDMI to a monitor or TV from the Xbox but not on PC.

If you want to play using remote feature from Xbox to your PC, you can do this method instead:

If you want to play directly to your PC, you can play through game pass from the Xbox app.

I don't think there's a way to play from multiple devices at the same time. You can take a look at Xbox Remote Play but you play only on one device at a time.

You can also play using Game Pass Ultimate from 2 devices at the same time (two computers, or one Xbox and one computer), but there are some games available only on PC and others only on Xbox.
