Remote play on Xbox app (Pc Version)

So i have found out you can play remotely on pc, trought the xbox app. I decided to try playing, but after entering remote play it just says

, How can i fix this?

The above has instructions on how you can use remote play to stream the xbox version of the game from an Xbox to your PC.

If you want to play the game directly on PC without streaming it then youd have to purchase the PC version of the game separately

If you've done everything correctly and the issue persists, then

- Open the Xbox Guide by pressing the guide button on the controller and select Settings.

- Select Network Settings.

- Select Advanced Settings.

- Under Change Settings select Alternate MAC Address.

- Select Clear.

- Allow the console to restart when prompted.

Two different things one companion app is a front end to your xbox for remote play

Xbox app is storefront for pc and remote play and cloud play

I am confused, is there another way to use wifi remote play than the xbox app?

I use the xbox app on every device for remote play. (Xbox to tablet/PC)
