Remote Play Issues with Ipad -- URI Parameters Incorrect

One of the problems I'm seeing with the Ipad Xbox app for remote play is that it is not redirecting to "account.microsoft.com" and one of the URI parameters is noting to the server that the device (ipad) is an ios iphone.

This is part of the string:

code_challenge_method=S256&display=ios_phone&

On the other hand we would like to share some information with you that these are known issues with remote play on iOS 16 and above OS versions that is now already been fixed

On the other hand since you are using an older iOS version we would like you to as a few more questions to fully isolate your current concern.

• Is this happening to all MS apps like have you already tried to install some MS Office applications and does it have the same behavior? OR just Xbox app? Link: Xbox on the App Store (apple.com)

• Have you already tried to install Xbox Game Pass app for iOS through this link: Connecting to Apple Music.?

• Have you also tried to uninstall and reinstall the app?

• If possible, kindly please provide us with some screenshots of your current problem. In order for us to investigate further with your current concern.

It looks like I was using an invalid character for my last name. The character was "\". I changed that and was able to have the app authenticate.

I will test and advise if this is a long term resolution to this issue.
