    Remote play issues on Xbox using 4g


    Remote play works perfectly fine on wifi at home all features set up on Xbox, phone and legion go all work off wifi but when switching to 4g doesn’t work on the new website for remote play used to work perfectly fine on the old app that got changed. Wondering if any one else has had this issue and knows of a fix I have tried different browsers and VPN to try bypass things

    Can't use Remote Play feature when using cellular data

    So basically you can’t use Remote play anywhere, and how is 4G and plus not strong enough for remote play even when you stay in the same spot? I heard all you need is 10 megs upload in order to play remote play and you get way more than that over a good solid LTE or 5G connection.

    I have only used a 4g modem/wireless phone router for my xbox gaming. 4g can be slow if the connection is poor but I personally never had any issue with it for multiplayer or streaming movies/netflix.

    oddly enough if i force 4g with a static IP, also using my ISP's DNS's to the xbox as well, and DMZ in my router to that IP on the xbox, i can play multiplayer, but not on 3g it keeps disconnecting from live, and yup this is also only happening since the
    new update as well

    And this my friend is why people are hating some of the Xbox live users . You know 4g networks are not ment for multiplayer games. YES YOU CAN CONNECT TO LIVE,but 4g networks have a huge latency issue which causes everyone playing the game with you to suffer.
