    Remote play, gaming optimization options on android. Not game pass.


    Please add the remote play feature from the xbox app to game pass app instead. Most phones don't recognize that the xbox app a game so when i stream it doesn't give the game optimization features like Bluetooth audio, fps, brightness lowered and controller input.

    I remember when the game streaming app beta had remote play in it.

    Then remote.play wont work

    Remote play ala xcloud is only available on gamepass ultimate

    Game.streaming.via.the xbox companion app requires a xbox

    Keep in mind you can't.use.the.xbox while you are.using.the wireless gamestreaming
    Huh? Remote Play is nothing to do with Xcloud or Game Pass. And if it won't work, then how can they get it working on their Android device? And they have an Xbox so that's not the issue.

    They are trying to Remote Play their Series X games from their Series X console to their PC via the Remote Play feature and using the Xbox App. This should work without an issue, as it does with their Android device. There is nothing on the Remote Play page to suggest Game Pass is needed

    Hi Christian!

    What exactly is your Android phone brand/model? Are you trying to play your games via remote play or cloud gaming?

    From which country are you currently located as well?

    Please note that for cloud gaming, it's required that you have an active Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription on your account.

    For the basic troubleshooting, try to reinstall your Xbox Game Pass app and restart your Android device.

    Xbox game pass for Android won't run games on my new phone.

    In the Game Pass android app, cloud games are listed as "install to" with no option to play. This all started on my new phone.

    I'm having the same issue on 2 Xbox One S's.

    Game Pass app for Android 9.

    Xbox OS version 10.0.18362.6065

    (19h1_release_xbox_dev_1908.190807-1720)

    Version is the same on both consoles.

    •Power mode set to instant-on.

    •Turning off storage when powered off is unchecked.

    •Allow remote installations is checked

    •Show progress remotely is checked

    •All Xbox App Connectivity options are enabled

    Tried toggleing options above and restarting.

    Tried soft factory reset.

    Tried clearing cache for Game Pass app.

    I have Xbox to Android working fine.

    I do not have Game Pass so XCloud is of no interest to me at this time.
