Remote installation still broken?

I feel like remote installing games from xbox.com via web browser is currently broken.

Its been broken for me too, for a while. And not just me, same goes to my friend.

Unless someone can confirm that they can still install games from xbox.com thru a web browser on a pc, I think it's broken.

I don't know if remote installing thru xbox app on smartphone still works, can't test that personally. Might try to borrow a smartphone and try that soon, will see.

Have you tried remote installing the game with instant on enabled?

I tired remote install twice, the install is still stopping at 15 percent

You mentioned that on the other platform your remote play works fine, correct? Which platform exactly? Are you able to play your games there remotely except on your Windows 11 machine?

If you want to play remotely on your Windows 11, make sure that all your available updates from Windows and Microsoft Store are installed:

You could as well repair & reset your Xbox app:

On your Xbox console, please power cycle it as well. Press and hold the Xbox power button for 10 seconds until it turns off. Unplug it from its power source for few minutes then plug it back in and turn it on again.

Then do the same with your network devices such as modem/router. Turn it off and unplug its power source for few minutes before turning it back on.

My remote power-up (1s over wireless) broke after the October xbox console update.

and is still broken.....

If the remote or controller has a button which is broken then the only way to fix is to get it sent in for a repair or get a refund or replacement if the product was broken within it's warrenty period. I suggest contacting xbox customer services or the
people you bought the product off in the first place and explaining to them exactly what happened and if the product is still in warrenty then they should be able to issue you with a refund or a replacement product. I hope this helps and all the best and good
