Remote Install Games to Seagate SSD

So, I have been trying to install some games via the Game Pass app to my Series X. There is not enough storage left on the main drive, but I have the Seagate Expansion SSD stick that is attached. Why does it say I don’t have enough storage when I try remote installs but when I turn on the Xbox, I have enough to download and install? Is there a way to set remote install to install somewhere else rather than the built in storage?
