Remote half disconnects?

    So my Xbox One likes to half- disconnect my remotes. What I mean is that it disconnects enought that i cant control my character and the headset doesn't work, but it's still connected enough so my Xbox doesn't recognize that it got disconnected. I have
    this issue with both my wireless and my wired remotes. Any help?

    Xbox One blinking light console on.

    No controller attached. We use the Xbox remote to turn it on, it's been on for about an hour and a half. And has done it twice.

    Xbox One does not respond to IR commands from media remote

    My xbox one will not respond to any commands from my Xbox One Media Remote. I have checked and made sure that the remote is in fact sending a signal with another device. I think it's possible my xbox one's IR sensor is simply broken, but I'm hoping that
    this is a fixable software issue. The problem has persisted since I got the remote a year ago. Some days the remote will be recognized by the console for about half an hour and then it goes back to ignoring the IR commands. I've tried full rebooting my xbox
    as well as resetting it. This does not fix the problem.

    I just thought of something that could be wrong. When you disconnect from remote play are you just closing the app? Or are you selecting the disconnect on the screen? Not for sure if it will help you but just a suggestion
