Remote game streaming not connecting to console

First off, Smartglass is no longer supported. You have the Xbox Console Companion, and the Xbox app on PC. To stream to your PC, you will first need to turn on game streaming in Devices & connections Remote features in the Settings. Once you have done
that, start the Xbox console companion, then make sure you are on the same network as the Xbox, sign in with the same Xbox account that is on the console, and select the connection icon on the left of the app, and then select the console that is connected,
and select stream. You should now be streaming your console to your PC.

I have similar issue.

What doesn't work:

• Remote Control from Standy On : Cannot touch Xbox button or Turn On Console to truly power on the console.
  
• Remote Play from Standby On: Cannot connect to the console, even though the router can find the console connected to network, can ping to the console through router console.
  
• Game management: cannot install or uninstall games
  

What does work:

• Change console name: using Xbox app to change console name, the updated name reflects on Xbox app Beta, Xbox Game Streaming (Test app) for PC. This means the apps still be able to connect to the console, sending signal to the console.
  
• Remote play when Powered on: remote play/console streaming feature can be used only and if only the console is turn on, with the Xbox button on console lighted on. Work on both External and internal networks => not related to NAT(Open type) or Remote settings because all testings give green status. ==> However, having the console turn on directly in-home or having someone at home to turn on the console for me is not the point of remote play. The console is supposed to be turn on in background for remote play from External network!
  

This issue should be fixed before anything else!

I have the exact same problem. I updated my Xbox to the latest update and connected it to the internet again so I could stream games to my laptop outside of my room. I loaded into the app and attempted to stream my
console. I could turn on the Xbox remotely however it cannot connect.

I understand the difference, but what I'm trying to do isn't playing Cloud games, I'm trying to remote into my console, launch and stream Installed games to my mobile

But despite having a good, stable, 5G connection, 127mbps download and 34 ping, I can't get it to connect to my console.

I was able to launch and play my console installed games remotely not a week ago using this same method, same location and same device....?

I can connect to it remotely without issues but there is an option to test game-streaming as i assume that's the reason you trying to sort this out. you can troubleshoot everything and it should provide with what the problems are.
