Remnant 2 looks bad on series s why is it only 30 frames and below at times ? Feel cheated

I'm sorry but since those games are running on completely different e hinges and completely different developers and assets, they're just not comparable. You have to compare the same game because every game is radically different, and there a lot of behind the scenes stuff you don't see

The developer said it was 30fps on Series S

If you have problems with performance, they are the only ones who can address them

But I feel that it causes frame drops in newer and heavier games like warzone or metro exodus

It happened only in games that optimized for series s/x

The series s isn't meant to run at 4k

1440p or 1080p at most with 60hz to 120max

With most only supporting 60fps

The reason why you are getting bad results is the series s can't handle 4k with hdr and vvr and you are going to drop a lot of frames because you are using the hardware past its limits

Games will put.down the resolution as needed but you won't like the results

I'm a PC gamer (i7 and RTX 2080) as well as a console gamer. I have a Series S because I couldn't get a Series X. When the X becomes available I'll replace it.

I've not connected my Series S to my TV, it's running off my Monitor. 1080P at 120Hz is great so far.

The great thing with these consoles is their content now follows you. when I get my Series X, only old games will work and work better.

Well no your best would be 1440p by 120hz if your tv would support that

Most games will only support 1080p depending on the tv

You gotta remember the series s is NOT a 4k console

It only upscales movies and TV shows to 4k not games

If you force it to 4k you will drop frames like crazy

Series s and below are 1440p max with recommended 90hz max
