    Reminder: Continue to report Xbox Wireless Headset mic-monitoring failure.


    We cannot let this issue continue to be put on the back burner without acknowledgment.

    Submit a report via report a problem on your Xbox every single day until there is a resolution to this failure. This is now just unacceptable.

    The latest insider firmware for the headset, 0.0.9.22 (still not public release), has not fixed the problem and no update has happened in months. Mic-monitoring continues to not exist, other than an incredibly low amount of sound that is barely audible.

    Xbox Wireless Headset mic monitoring

    I upgraded to their wireless headset over Christmas, and mic monitoring is working on that device.

    I am now assuming the wired mic monitoring has a limitation due to the lack of power or something similar.

    Anyways, wanted to share with everyone. If you want mic monitoring you can hear, upgrade to the wireless model!

    All who complains about the hissing noise every headset does that as in the regular wired mic just not as loud. Secondly the beeping noise when u put it on mute is to remind u that u have it on mute like any other Xbox wireless mic @_@
