Remember that time Reputation and Reports actually meant something?

The people on Overwatch now a days just report people to hope they don't match with them again, whether they're reporting their opponents, or reporting the one or two players that aren't in their 4 stack party, they're doing it nearly every game, there needs
to be a report dispute function, where if they can't provide proof of something report worthy they themselves get a strike.

Because I can god damn guarantee that the people that "Check" these reports, simply look at the number and say, yup, these are legit. There is no actual research into it, simple as that, it is a flawed and broken system, I've sent 3 messages ever on Xbox,
I have yet to receive a report on any of the games I play barring Overwatch, these include FIFA, CoD, Battlefield, Mass Effect, GTA, Xenoverse 2 and more. Yet I get reported multiple times on Overwatch for simply being a good player, or for picking someones
"Main" and I can guarantee there is no evidence to back up any wrong doing, because I'm never malicious and only ever speak in gamechat if someone flanks us or if I ever need back up. Its nice to see that the Live Support and any so called staff on here can
only ever say that the function is working as intended, when there is multiple threads on here, on Battle.net, and across social media outlining the problems with your broken and flawed rep system. No wonder people prefer to stick to PC or PS4, when you can't
even acknowledge your problems.

I play PS4, I even dabble in PC Gaming, and guess what? Never once been lumped into any bad groups, sure there is cry babies that threaten to report, but since the staff that actually check them on other platforms are actually vigilant, nothing comes of
it because they are wholeheartedly false. But hey, why start listening to your users now? Maybe once they all flock off to other platforms because of your silence and inability to actually help, you'll do something, but by then, it will be too late.

Knowledge-less staff, unhelpful staff, and barely literate staff don't help either. Typed the same problem to 6 different staff members on Xbox, that I can't get out of avoid me because it won't let me play any games while in avoid me, and all they do, it
respond with "Keep playing to get out of avoid me" I mean, are you having a laugh? I literally just posted I can't find games while in avoid me.

Guess when you read off a script and copy paste responses, I shouldn't expect much help, and I am aware my post is directly from the salt mills, but when your "Staff" just copy paste responses and can't even read, and you refuse to fix a broken system. What
do you expect from me? I used to love Xbox and play it every day, playing my PS4 or PC maybe fortnightly or monthly when the urge occurred, but now, I come on my Xbox maybe monthly, at a push. Because nearly everyone I know has left the console for PS4, and
I'm seriously considering selling mine on too. Which is a real shame, since it used to be a cornerstone for gaming across my friend group, and now its just, gone.

part of the problem is non of you actually care about this. if its true or not, and offer nothing constructive.

I would try and remember the name, time and number called. File a BBB.org report and state what happened. They will have to follow up. otherwise company reputation starts to dwindle. that about the best you can do unfortunately.

If I rack up many reports in a short period of time, will my reputation automatically go down? No, your reputation will not go down until someone from the Xbox Live Policy Enforcement Team reviews the reports. If the reports are false, they will have no
impact on your reputation. If the reports are confirmed, your reputation score

so you got caught breaking the rules .. accept and move on

 

Imagine, getting 30 reports for unsporting conduct, yet never actually doing anything unsporting. The problem seems to be isolated to games like Overwatch, guess that's what happens when you are too tight to get staff to actually get people to siphon through
the reports. ****, the dispute system would even work, it'd deter false reports, and help people on the receiving end to clear their names, if you will.
