    Relinking Microsoft account to different PSN account


    Hi!

    I've been trying to unlink my Microsoft account from my PS4 account, in order to relink my Microsoft account with a different PS4 account. The reason for this being that I accidentally linked my Microsoft account to an account that is not mine which prevents me access to my purchases.

    My Microsoft account is now linked to the incorrect PS4 account. When I sign into the incorrect PS4 account and go to MC > Settings > Profile > Unlink Microsoft account it says my Microsoft account is now unlinked successfully. However, when I sign into my account and try to link my Microsoft, it says that my Microsoft account is already linked to a PSN account and it cannot be linked to my account.

    Is there a way to fix this problem? I can't imagine we get an option that literally says Unlink Microsoft Account without there being a way of actually unlinking said Microsoft account. Ive posted this question under Xbox > Games and Apps because I don't see where there's an option for Microsoft account or PSN ID change.

    Hi Arjen,

    Thanks for the reply. As you posted to unlink the account you go through the PlayStation settings. We do not handle PlayStation. This is why I directed you to PlayStation support as the PS account is not unlinking correctly.

    Would you please try to log in to your account on Microsoft Account website. If there's no issue detected on your Microsoft account, then I'd advise you to contact PSN support for further assistance.

    Hi Brad,

    I'm sorry I was not clear enough in my initial explanation of the problem. I'm not going through the PlayStation settings to unlink my account. I simply start Minecraft after which I choose
    Settings > Profile > Unlink Microsoft Account. I hope this information might help in finding a solution to this problem.
