Release VR support for Xbox one already!

We are getting tired of waiting. Are the numbers of Sony VR units sold not enough for you? I’m trying to stay loyal to Xbox but it’s not getting any easier. I’ve thought about buying a PS4 and getting rid of all of my Microsoft/Xbox content. If you’re not
going to enter the VR world with Xbox One any time soon I am going to have to make that costly leap. Once I go to Sony I won’t come back. I started playing Xbox about mid lifecycle of the Xbox 360. I came because Sony didn’t have the multiplayer function down
quite like Microsoft did at that time. The games were also about the same. Now a days Sony has better games than Xbox, the PS4 Pro offers fantastic graphics and storage space, a more than acceptable multiplayer infrastructure and Virtual Reality!
Why would I stay with Xbox when Sony has all of that RIGHT NOW!??

ADD VR SUPPORT!!! WE ARE TIRED OF WAITING!!!!

    :)

  2. Please Help Us!!

Project "Scorpio" (with a release date of possibly late-2017) is already being developed with VR support in mind. I would imagine they're already designing a VR headset to go with it.

We'll see in another 12 months or so...

    Hi

If you already have an Xbox One you should question if it might be better to save your money and invest it in an Xbox Scorpio as that will support VR & 4K.

If you want to use Spny's stuff, use Sony's stuff. You dont have to keep xbox stuff. Its also possible to have both.

Until VR goggles are extremely lightweight (not requiring a big rubber, sweat inducing, gasket to attach to your face like an alien), wireless, and have ultra HD screens (while not costing an arm and a leg)...VR is a fad and blows...

Erm, you may want to hold off on the whole VR thing, everything I had read is that VR may be going the way of 3D TV's.

Put simply the games just simply aren't there, yes there are a few really good VR games, but the vast majority of them on the PS4 are little more than tech demos. And that is the one main flaw with VR, people aren't willing to spend £350 (roughly) on a
gimmick unless there are a lot of good games, and developers are reluctant on making VR games because the user base still isn't there.

Why make a VR games and limit sales, we had the same thing with Kinect games, and I expect PSVR to go the same was as Kinect.

as an owner of psvr then i would not recommend it, it is low resolution, the games are like tech demo's, if you want VR then use a very powerful PC and invest a large amount into high resolution VR. the playstation is not powerful enough to support proper
VR even on the pro. I like the idea of VR but like Phil Spencer said in an interview a while ago, there needs to be a wire free option.

VR is too expensive. VR googles which look goofy are too expensive. People complain US$499 is too expensive.

And then look how well Kinect has done.... Microsoft has stopped selling and manufacturing Kinect. And have sold out of Kinect too including Kinect adapters for the Xbox One S and Xbox One X consoles. They also dropped Kinect gestures support for Xbox One
    too.

Also how many people ON XBOX, are genuinely interested in VR AND who won't freak out at the cost of it? Sony set's an RRP price of NZ$699 for the Sony PS4 VR goggles. Microsoft sells HoloLens thingy for $1000-$4000. I mean who is going to pay THAT much just
    for VR?

We are living in the 21st century, where surprise 1990's mechanical fusion HDD's are still in circulation in modern PC's and where we still don't have warp technology and space ships with transporter technology yet. Don't expect a lot out of 21st century
technology, or be prepared to spend a lot for it.

  11. same exact story here bro.. I'm an Xbox guy, always have been since 2001 but I got tired of waiting especially after the PSVR came out and I got a taste of it and I was hooked so i sold my Xbox and got the PS4 Pro to give me the best possible experience
and I am so happy I did it! I don't regret it all.. Xbox will always be my first love but Sony is killing it with the VR bro. They have an app called NextVR that let's you watch sports courtside as if you are there in the arena and they give you angles from
beside the rim that are just breathtaking ! The games are amazing to play in VR and can only be seen to be believed !! I THINK xbox is going to have VR by holiday season if they stick to their word (which they haven't at all recently) but I can't be sure ..
    I highly recommend PSVR !!

  12. II see alot of people in here are very misinformed by VR. My research says that VR is very healthy and growing at a phenomenal rate (I can link you to an article just a few days ago by xboxs co-creator who says VR is taking over) wall street estimates in
a few years its gonna be a 100-200 billion dollar business (estimates vary) and new processor Chips just came out, newer models are coming up with higher and higher and higher resolutions, they're getting smaller and lighter and were seeing price cutes and
fantastic sales. I just read an article by one of PlayStation's top guys who said a big part of Sony's massive sales have come from people buying the PS4 Pro just to play PSVR and we've seen a mini exodus of xbox guys to PS just to play PSVR! I think what's
going on here is theres a bunch of VR haters in here because a quick google search for "VR" yields all kinds of results by ppl praising VR and all its uses. So please stop spreading misinformation that quite frankly are lies !

VR is pretty cool I’ll admit, but I’d rather MS focus on normal games before they start thinking of VR games.
