Release date

Let me first start off by saying you are continually doing some messed up stuff Microsoft. Does anyone remember when the x one first released and you "were going" to have to be connected online for everything to work? But at the last minute they "changed
it"? Do me a favor....disconnect your Xbox from the internet and try to watch a blue ray or basic DVD.......what could possibly be the reasoning behind those not working when not connected? I am seriously surprised you guys didn't have to gight a class action
lawsuit for this.

Next...release dates. I pre ordered A creed Odyssey which by all menues was to release OCTOBER 4TH, stated by you MICROSOFT. So why am I waiting til the 5th before I can start playing? This stuff can easily be avoided. I dont like being misled nor do my
fellow gamers. Next console I guess I am going to have to switch sides

Release date

I already knew it was around summer because of the trailers and website, I am happy though that it isn't being released anytime this month or the next because I need more time for me to get my xbox one but in the bright side zenimax is improving the consoles
version for us and we can use all knowledge pc players have obtained for our own needs when the game comes out. We just chill back while they do all the work, patience also has its advantages.

 

Release Date ?

It releases in Australia same day as US and I was told today not to expect it til mod to end of November from EB Games which is one of the largest video game specialty stores here in Australia.

 

Well make the console your home console, re-download Blu-ray app, then go offline and try video, but also you should be able to play at 11:00P.M. your time, ether way good luck

 

Thats what they advertise. Not what you can really do

 

make sure you have your xbox set as your home xbox, you have installed any updates for the blue ray player app, that should fix the issue.

As for AC Odyssey, make sure you are taking into account time zone differences.

 

AC releases on the 5th. That’s what I’ve seen everywhere.

 

The 5th is the official wide release date, and always has been. Perhaps there is some sort of time zone issue at play?

I preordered the “Ultimate” version, and I was able to play it at 9:00pm MST on the 1st, which is three hours earlier than I expected. In this case a time zone issue worked out in my favor.

I hope you enjoy the game! I think Ubisoft has done a terrific job.

 

Time zones can affect the release dates, be sure to check when your region can go live.

Keep in mind just because something doesn't work for you, doesn't mean there's a bigger issue. You should be able to play movies directly off of Blu-Ray or DVD while offline. As someone mentioned you do have to have it set as your home Xbox and may need to
reinstall the Blu-ray app. A hard reset on the console may also resolve potential other issues causing it not to work.

As far as AC Odyssey, every official release date I've seen has been October 5th.
