Release Animal To Wild, but Still There?

So, I've encountered this 3 times now. I have an animal that is level 15 and I select the "Return to Wild" option, but the animal never gets picked up by a helicopter. The first time it happened, he disappeared after I had saved my game and loaded it later
on that day. Anyone else have this happen?

P.S. If I select the animal, the "Return to Wild" option is now blacked out. It's like he/she is stuck.

Midnight release

Its always funny at midnight releases for cod watching the kids who first time being outside for a year since the last cod release its like watching a wild animal lost in urban setting haha

 

Zoo Tycoon bug when selling or donating animals

I've encountered this in a couple of maps. I was trying to get all the awards for a single zoo. As part of it, you need to have one of each biome type, which due to the complexity limits usually means small or medium biomes. I then tried to get the breeder
and release awards, so i tried to get rid of the animals, sell the small biome and replace with a large one. I released a couple of animals into the wild. Some were below level 15 so I tried to sell them.

Usually it works. occassionally I get one that I select the sell, accept transfer to a new zoo and the helicopter never comes to pick up the animal. It just stays, continues to level up. If I select it again, the options for move, sell, release to the wild
are all greyed out. I can never do anything more to the animal. I can't sell the biome because there's an animal in it, but can't get rid of the animal.

Anyone encountered this or find a way to remove it?

This happens to me pretty much every time I release an antelope. Once you choose to release or trade an animal, you can no longer interact with it. For some reason the helicopter doesn't show up sometimes, meaning you have to save, exit, and reload in order
for the sequence to complete.

 

Yea, I guess I've figured out that is the only fix for it (currently). The 2 animals that were just sittin' around waiting despawned when I loaded the game back up. Not a big deal, just annoying.
