Release a simple wired controller

I have enough cables trailing around as it is. Wireless controllers gives me one less cable to worry about. For charging, I just simply put the controller on charge when I have finished playing a game. Problem sorted. Why do people make such a big deal
out of little things these days?

Unreal Warfare is correct, I know I mentioned the USB way to play, but if there was the option I would buy a cheaper wired controller for the likes of Halo, BF and Destiny, and use a wireless for the other titles, just like I did on the Xbox 360.

Every 360 pad i had ultimately became wired, the battery will inevitably wear down and it will end up the same on this one, so i wouldn't mind cheaper wired pads, i have friends who can toast a controller in a few sittings.

They're like old school gamers thinking everything needs excessive input force so i would defo buy cheaper wired pads for home gaming and same for my daughter etc,

I turn rumble off its ridiculous on the xbox one its so exaggerated for minor things and everything just about seems to trigger some vibration of some descript it starts to make my wrists feel funny and half the time it feels like my pad will just rumble
itself in half the chassis doesn't half move when it gets going.

But yeah i'd rather have a cheaper 20/30 quid wired pad on hand for backup for when my 40+quid pad and 20 quid + play n charge dies off its not affordable to keep up with replacements especially with games like fifa bf and maybe in the future fallout.

Hello everyone

Honestly, I don't use the "rumble" feature at all so if the option for a wired controller that was missing this feature was available, I would definitely pick it up

With that being said, I don't think that they're going to make a wired control pad without the rumble function because it wouldn't be profitable them.

I'm fine with the wireless controllers

I only buy the official Microsoft Brand controllers because unless I receive a 3rd party controller as a gift, there is no way I'm going to risk spending my money on a 3rd party brand & hope that it is as durable / works as well as the official brand.

On the other hand, those 3rd party brands are perfect for kids because they're probably going to get messed up anyway LOL

You can remove the battery pack and play with the micro USB, it works perfectly well.

I'm going to agree with the topic creator I wouldn't mind a cheaper controller with less features. I have a couple of friends/relatives who are "sorta gamers" they were big into games at on point but stopped buying newer systems(or are nephews who are too
young to have jobs). So I always have a bunch of controllers for good fashioned local play sessions. At $60 bucks a pop that can get expensive!

Samsung SMART TVs have a remote control app across all major mobile OS and it works very well. I'm pretty sure SONY and LG also have similar apps. I think it's safe to say that IR remotes will be done with sooner than you think.
