    I've always been an Xbox person, defending it from day 1 and always supporting it. I've always been a loyal customer, but after today i'm really starting to second guess my purchase of this "500$ brick". I think the least Microsoft can do to help all of
    it's paying customers is to offer some form of reimbursement. Not being able to connect to XBL is one thing, but an issue rendering the device practically useless is a major issue that should of been addressed sooner. Microsoft, you have once again let all
    of your customers down, and I hope they offer some form of reimbursement such as a free month of XBL for all members. Post your thoughts below

    I think they should change it's functions when Live service isn't available. That's it.

    We should all we aware it can go down from time to time, it's common sense.

    This is not something i want to have compensation for, it's only 3 hours, not 3 weeks.

    I agree, and not having an offline mode where we can enjoy our games on the Xbox One is a major flaw and detrimental to the versatility of the console. But you also have to take into account that people have spent hours trying to get their unit to work,
    resetting their internet multiple times only to realize that there's nothing they can do.

    I understand sometimes accidents happen and I can't sign in. 100% fine and expected that from time to time. The thing I don't understand is why does the website say all the apps are working fine when you need to sign in to use them? Not to mention we
    can't even play games off line, I could have sworn that issue was resolved and that always online wasn't going to happen. No need to compensate but would it kill you for a little more clarity?

    You can play in offline mode...... Disconnect your Ethernet cord or disconnect from your wireless and the system will let you sign in. You will be able to play most games (Sp only). This is the only way to sign into your profile at this time.

    The inability to download content is a bit of a deterrent to playing offline as I just bought my console.

  7. Ethernet disconnected no wifi. Still can't sign in. This isn't even a gaming console it's entertainment console I have no cable so basically I'm sitting in a house bored out my mind empty because I have work in the morning there's not a lot to do for 4 hours
    before I have to be back in bed so now I'm stuck scrolling through a phone this sly guy is a tool he feels hd knows how everyone else should feel about this issue. If someone is frustrated it is there right to feel that way and you don't have the right to
    tell them they are wrong. Tell me to grow a pair? Grow your own cause you obviously don't have a pair and use a forum to fill the void.

    I called and asked for a refund from the manager. He said they weren't giving any because the problem is so wide spread. What? That's like the power company not fixing a pole down the street and still charging you for the days service fees. It's ludicrous
    and if this lasts another 6 hours I will be recontacting support demanding a refund. If not I'll just burning their *** down.

    Bought XBox One the day it came out and waited for a decent game to play. Call of Duty Ghosts wasn't as fun as the old ones and I already played ACIV. Suddenly, the game I've been waiting on comes out AAAAAAAANNNNNNNNNND I can't sign into xbox live. No netflix,
    no Titanfall, no Hulu, no Amazon Prime.....nothing nothing nothing. I have been on board with XBox for a long time, this failure and lack of communication is unacceptable. If they don't do anything to make up for this......they have a lot to learn about customer
    service.

    We should definitely get some form of reimbursement! Everyone's time is valuable and a lot of us don't have a lot of time to give or spend. Not to mention money that we have spent on a device that is almost completely useless without being able to sign
    in. Just got home with my new system and nothing. All I can do is watch movies... Wait I could do that before!

    This has been very disconcerting for me too. I also have been loyal to xbox and microsoft for years -- even foregoing playing with my best friends because they remain loyal to sony and playstation. I picked up my brand-new xbox one today with a downloadable
    copy of titanfall, get home, and can't do anything cause I can't connect to live. It's depressively anti-climatic to be restricted to the 360 after so much build-up to moving up to the next gen. I might just go hang myself......is there a suicide support forum
