Reinstalling Minecraft

Hey guys,

I have trouble with starting Minecraft on my Xbox One S. There's no Update I haven't downloaded yet, so I want to uninstall the game and then reinstall it. Am I going to keep my worlds, because I'm really worried that they won't be there after reinstalling.

Please help :/

Thank you for reaching out. If you haven't already done so, we suggest you try performing a

factory reset on your console by doing the following:

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select Settings.

Select All Settings.

Select System.

Select Console info & updates.

Select Reset console.

Make sure you have your email and password as you will be asked to sign back in. Afterwards go ahead and try installing Minecraft. Let us know how it goes!

Unfortunately the problem persists. I took my console this morning to a game store to see if the problem was with my router but the same thing happened. I still can't install or update the game. I have
two Xone and this error occurs with both consoles (one is the original model and the other is the model S.) Thanks.

Hi try clearing local saved games on the console ( You won't lose a thing don't worry) and then clear the MAC address again. When you have done those two things try installing again.

Are you using the Windows 10 version of Minecraft? This would imply that you should be able to see it via your

Order history. As stated by Xbox Forums Ambassador AlphaUrsaMajor, this should also give you the chance to install it from there.
