    Reinstalling DLC offline


    My internet is out but I tried to uninstall and reinstall a DLC to attempt to fix a bug in the game. However, when I uninstalled the game it is not in my “ready to install” list. Is this because I’m offline? Will it be there when I’m online? Or did I just lose the DLC I payed for?

    I believe most games need an intenet connection for DLC as they are generally downloaded from wherever they are held....I imagine it should be available to install next time you go online

    My problem is solved. For this specific instance, I was playing Fallout 3 GOTY edition where all the DLC are downloaded when you put in the disc. After reconnecting to the internet and putting the disc in, the download for the missing DLC initiated.

    Glad it's solved. It's the same for most DLC....the disc generally contains the base game and any DLC is digital and so should download on install

    Thank you for the the reply. That’s what I was thinking as well but I wanted to be sure and see if anyone had a definite answer as I could not find one.

    HI Red,

    Thanks for coming to the forums. We understand having issue with DLC. We recommend trying to uninstall and reinstall the DLC. When doing this make sure you access the game online first. This will save your data to the cloud. Once you reinstall the DLC then
    launch the game so your data syncs. Then go to network settings and select go offline. If by chance you are sharing the DLC from someone, you will need to be online to play it.
