Reinstallation of GTA V issue. Need help

Hey, I'm currently having a problem with my Xbox one regarding GTA V. When I was reinstalling it, it stopped installing halfway through, saying I didn't have the necessary amount of gigabytes. I checked out of curiosity, and found that I actually did have
the correct amount, and that the system was refusing to install it. I tried restarting my xbox first. When that didn't work, I took the disk out, and checked it for any scratches or smudges, and found none. When I put the disk back in, it still wouldn't install.
So I canceled the installation, and it staight up disappeared from my account. It's invisible in my games apps, and it does not even work if I put the disk in. If anyone can help me, please do. Xbox official is refusing to do anything, and I'm at my wits end.

Hi there,

I have had this problem myself, and something is telling me a hard reset is needed. This will clear your cache which could be responsible for your issue. If your cache is full, game updates and sometimes playing games themselves simply don’t work properly,
and issues like games disappearing can happen. To clear your cache, hold the power button down for 10 seconds until the console turns off. Then, unplug the power cable and leave it out for 30 seconds to be safe. Then, plug back in the cable and turn the console
on.

Hopefully this helps! If it doesn’t, make sure that your internal and external storage devices have definitely got the space, and double check the disc for any minor scratches.

Ok. Reformatted the hard drive, and it's still quick to log in. I originally only had GTA V installed on the 120 GB hard drive, so instead of installing that, I installed both discs of Mass Effect 2 (which takes up more space than GTA V), and I had no
issues with logging in. I'm now reinstalling GTA V to see if the issue comes back. If GTA V is the culprit, I'll switch to their help forums.

Hey there Buckey! Thanks for hitting us back with that information.

This really sounds like some sort of issue with GTA V itself that might need to be fixed by a title update. Just in case in helps though, I suggest deleting and reinstalling the previous title update to GTA V and see if that helps things at all. To
do that:

Go to Settings > System > Storage, find the GTA V folder, inside you should see the Title Update. Delete it.
Clear your system cache.
Restart your console.
Start up GTA V (your console may install the title update again, that's fine).

When you reinstalled GTA V did the amount remaining just stay the same as when you uninstalled it.

What exactly is remaining after GTA V was removed.
