    Regular game crashes in Windows 11 64bit


    I recently installed a clean new install of Windows 11 on my PC. I'm having regular but inconsistent game crashes. Crashes happen often but at different times. I have mini dump files, but I've had crashes that do not seem to create mini dump files looking at dates on the dmp files... I've changed video cards, swapped out RAM, did RAM stress tests without error.

    its windows 11, it has become shocking of late with the latest updates, just go back to windows 10 for now as all runs well there.

    Hello ChiselPSU, in cases like mini dump it is very difficult to diagnose what could be happening with your PC.

    You mention that you've swapped out video cards, swapped out RAM, did RAM etc, but if it's still acting the same it could be something in the hardware that you haven't detected yet.

    In cases like this, the ideal is to send your PC to a specialized technical assistance where they have specific software and equipment to analyze your machine.

    The only SATA drivers I find on Gigabyte's drivers download webpage )https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboar...ev-10/support#support-dl-driver-sataraidahci) are:

    Intel SATA Preinstall driver
    (For AHCI / RAID Mode)
    (Note) Windows setup to read from USB thumb drive.

    OS: Windows 11 64bit,Windows 10 64bit

    Intel Rapid Storage Technology

    OS: Windows 11 64bit,Windows 10 64bit

    There are no Utility drivers available.

    Could you please confirm that installing SATA drivers mentioned above may potentially fix a problem with Xbox360 controller not functioning? I'm no expert but I always thought SATA is for HDD/SDD drives not USB devices.

    halo mcc works fine on windows 10 and 11, i used to play it via the xbox app but now have it on steam and play weekly, it is fully working with 32bit and 64bit systems.

    there must be an issue with your system.

    just went back to windows 11 to test the game, still crashes on launch. my boyfriend is on windows 11 and has no issues with the game at all. maybe i'm just the unlucky one :D
