    Regular DVD’s


    I have an Xbox One and for some reason its not playing regular DVD’s anymore. I put in the DVD, it loads the Blu-Ray app and nothing happens. Do i need a different app or is something wrong with my Xbox?

    Lord of the Rings Extended DVDs don't play

    If its a regular dvd it will not pay it because the xbox one read CDs game discs or blu ray dvd sorry

    I am trying to play a regular DVD and it tells me I need to insert a game, Blu-ray or regular DVD). The disk is nothing special, just a copy of Shrek 1. I hope there is a solution out there, because I just tore everything apart to get my old DVD plugged
    back in.

    That was the final straw for me.

    The DVD issues is not universal I play DVDs on my XB1 on a regular basis. It does indeed sound like a warranty issues.

    Xbox one X 4K blu ray issue

    Standard dvds, game discs, regular blu rays all work fine now problems, its only 4k dvds that give me the problems.

    Will the HD DVD xbox360 drive work on the X1?

    I bought and regularly use the HD DVD player too... Not simply for just the HD DVD's but also for watching regular DVD's. It helps not to put as much DVD usage on the console drives. Learned that from watching ps2's break every week.
