    Hey all, I'm trying to register my 360 to my Microsoft acct but the serial number is not being recognized. I've entered it in multiple times - with spaces, without spaces, even Product ID but nothing seems to work.

    What do I do?

    That's exactly what I've been doing. The serial number is not recognized.

    Microsoft is no longer supporting the Xbox 360 which may be why its not registering, or if the console is second hand you can’t re register it

    Hello BritishMagnolia, you have acquired this console second hand or you are the first owner, usually the serial number is the front USB port of the console, if even after checking all the number and try to register it error, you will have to contact the Xbox service and ask them to transfer you to the advanced department so that they can register the console in your account.

    Ugh, that sucks. I'm the original owner, I just never registered it. I wasn't sure if I needed to register to create an Xbox live account - I'm behind the times. Lol
