Hi, you can get an exchange by going to support and registering for a replacement

GoW 3 console has no internal hard drive?

The maroon and black-tatooed Gears of War console comes with an internal 320GB HDD. If yours is registering no storage device, try popping the drive out and back in. If that doesn't work, exchange it at your retailer.

    Xbox One Controller Warranty

    Hi there Akihiro

I think you would have to register the exchanged one as well for it to be covered by warranty. Also it depends on what retailler you purchased then exchanged the controller with.

    Controller Problem

You can either return items to retailer for exchange/money back or log on to xbox.com, support and service center. Register the console and write up a service repair/exchange for your controller.

    Xbox one wireless controller issue

I believe you can register the controller after you register a console as the instructions say "Please register accessories after selecting the relevant main device." If this doesn't work try going back to walmart and see if they let you exchange it.

    Warranty for Xbox one controller

    Hello sanyogbhardwaj,

Unfortunately exchanges for a controller require a registered Xbox device. It doesn't have to be a controller that came with the device however it appears you are still required to have a registered Xbox console to make an exchange/register the controller.

For more information on how to register a controller, check out Replacing
    a broken Xbox One Controller
    .

Xbox controllers are high quality and I have yet to have one break so you likely won't have an issue in the standard 90 warranty period that comes with a controller unless you're throwing it around in rage.

If you have further questions you may want to consider Contacting support.

Hope this helps answer your question.

    Nate.

    Brand new Elite Controller malfunction

    Hi Dustin,

Thanks for reaching out to the forums in regards to this. I apologize that the controller didn't work properly as it should. In this case I believe you should be able to exchange it in store but, it does depend where you purchased it if they have a certain
time limit to exchange in store.

If anything the other option would be to do a repair/exchange through Microsoft as your controller should be in warranty for it. For this sign in at

    Device Support
and then select Register new device.

After you've registered, you'll see the warranty status for your device.

    Hope this information helps.
