    Regional question


    First off, if this question is in the wrong place, many apologies and please move as you see fit.

    I have a good friend, who, like me, has been a xbox live Gold member for quite some time, but, unlike me, he cannot purchase anything through Xbox live. This has been the case since, early 360 days. I myself live in the UK and so everything has been
    fine, my friend however, lives in Slovenia. He's been hoping for quite some time that with each update, his region will be included and each time it is not, it causes bad feeling. Whats making things worse is he has no trouble buying things online through
    your rivals system network.

    My question is this, Will Slovenia, be regionally included with xbox live?

    Regional marketplace question

    So right now I want to buy a game (state of decay) from the Xbox live website in germany, it seems it hasn't been released here yet, but when i click an ad for it, still in the german website, it redirects me to the US live website, where it is aparently
    possible for me to buy it.

    The question is, since I'd buy it from the US marketplace, would there be any problems/would I even be able to download it on my german xbox??

    Hello Fellow Xbox User,

    Unfortunately you will need to wait until the game you want is released in your region. Even if you buy it from the US marketplace you will not be able to play it on your Xbox. But be patient, sometimes it can
    take games a little while to get through things like ratings boards before they can be released into other regions. Hope this helps

    Unfortunately, no one here will have any information as to when/if Slovenia will be added to Live.

    well two things

    you cannot use us or canadian ms point sfor that region nor a billing address

    2nd

    there will be content you cannot download regardless if you pretend to be in UK skyplayer netflix etc etc is UK only and they check your IP

    and playing overseas players isn't the best idea because the amount of lag that happens because of the distance

    The terms of service do not specifically state that you cannot do this. Although I remember years ago that someone in a region out of the GFWL service area lied about his location and was unable to use his account. Not because he was banned, just because
    GFWL was not supported. So nothing will happen but it would likely be pointless to lie about your region, you won't be able to access region locked content.

    tl;dr, you're fine but it's really pointless to do that.

    Hi BannerLeaf1198! We suggest you make a LIVE account for the region you live in. This ensures you don't encounter any region mismatch errors, which occur quite often when your physical location and account location don't line up!
