    Switch xbox regions online from us to uk and now my gold subscription is gone. Anybody experience this?

    Yesterday, I tried changing my Xbox account region from UK back to US, and I got taken to a page that showed some XBL Gold subscription offers in pounds. I hadn't set up any payment methods since switching to UK, so I couldn't pay for any of them, and I
    didn't have any codes to redeem, but there was no option to skip this step, so I just picked the 1-month option hoping that they would charge me in dollars so I could use my card. What happened was that I got taken to the page that asks for my billing information,
    and an email was sent to me saying that my account had been successfully switched to US and that a my old Gold subscription had been cancelled and replaced by a 1-month subscription. The region in the billing info page was set to UK and it was unchangeable
    so I still couldn't pay for it, and I closed the page. I opened up the website again and clicked on 'My Account' to see if the account had really been switched to US. Apparently, it wasn't (the url has 'en-GB' in it, and I'm still charged in pounds in the
    store). Under the 'Xbox Live' heading in the My Account page, it said something like 'Region Switch Offer,' and when I try switching the region again, I get the page that has all the offers that I can't pay for or skip. I figured that I have have to have be
    a gold member in order to complete the switch, so I bought a subscription code and redeemed it, but I still get the GB store. Now, when click on 'Change Xbox account region' and pick the US, it says "There’s a problem completing your move right now.
    Please check the Region Change Support Page to make sure it will work for you, and try again later." Does that mean my account region is stuck as UK for another 3 months, or is there some waiting time for a region switch to apply that I
    have to wait out?

    It's possible that the region change was just slow to go through, but to be safe, I suggest using the
    Contact Us page to set up a support call with an account specialist. They will be able to look through your account with you and see if there are any hold-ups.

    Switching the console region solved the problem, for some reason stores in other regions show it as if I don't own the game, but switching to the region in which I obtained it solves it.

    Sorry to hear it. Unfortunately the payment option must match your gamertag and physical region. I would like to recommend that you set up a Paypal account to use while you wait for a Spanish credit card.

    The migration tool is not meant to allow you to gain access to other regions offers unless you actually live there

    Thanks for the reply, and suggestion. I guess that's my only option at this point, as i'm not planning on getting a Spanish card, i just don't need it. I'm just kind of annoyed at how this system works i suppose. Thanks again for taking the time to reply.
