I have an Xbox Live Gold account, I live in Brazil and I have an Xbox 360 console brazilian. I turned on my Xbox and I accessed my account and tried to download the free game (Reflex Mx vs ATX) offered by Live Gold, but when trying to download the game get
the following message "Area of the game is not compatible with this console. The download will not be done and you will not be charged. " But how well "Area of the game is not compatible" if it was offered by the Xbox Live Gold for Brazilian subscribers? Some
way to solve this problem? Thanks

Hi in some cases the games available in different regions vary and alternatives are offered.

If it is available in your region your region and location must be the same to access certain content and validate downloads or play restricted games etc.

If your location and region are not the same you can amend by following these steps:

support.xbox.com/.../change-region

Please note disc based games must be compatible with your consoles region.

Yep.That game is region locked so your account,billing & actual location must all be set to Brazil

I'm and all are and they are in Brazil and are configured with Brazil. And my signature was renewed on 01.08.2016 with validity of 1 year. If anyone can help thanks.

 

And do a migrationto brazol.also you should check the back of your console whenever it is ntsc or pal

If it's ntsc then you bought an imported console take the issue up with your retailer

Consoles are hardcore and cannot be changed

As stated before my console is Brazilian and is properly configured to PAL, it was done in Brazil, purchased in Brazil and since 2012 have used the same, downloaded the free games of Xbox Live Gold and bought the games through marktplace. In the same day
that I could not play this particular game, I downloaded the demo of Left 4 Dead 2 and also using my XBox 360, I booked the games that Xbox Live Gold offered this month to the XBox One. In summary I think all worked properly except download this particular
game.

Not all games have the region checks

Also you need to.be use the migration tool specific games are console region locked

Demos never have the region locks on them and fyi usually remigration to the same region fixes the region errors

 

As long as you haven't actually moved then you shouldn't have any issues
