    Dear Internet community.

    I got myself a basic xbox one pack: A single wireless controller, headset and no kinect. As I am visiting the US in a few days I figure I there's a good chance I may come across a retailer where I can get a better deal on games and accessories than home
    here in Norway.

    I am considering buying a second wirelss controller and a kinect, and perhaps some extra games.

    So my questions are as follows:

    1. Are there any region lock issues with accessories like the kinect or the controllers?
    2. Are there any region lock issues with games?
    3. About games, I've heard suggestions that there may be an issue with the PAL vs. NTSC television systems. Is this something that should be a concern fore me as a Norwegian (PAL) buying a game on the US market (NTSC)?
    Any feedback will be appreciated.

    Using a HDD on a different region console?

    All accessories are region free, its just the consoles and games that suffer region lock.

    US Hard Drive in a UK System?

    Only certain games have region locks, accessories including Xbox 360 hard drives do not. So yes, you can use a U.S hard drive in a UK Xbox 360 console.

    Hi James,

    There are no region locks on games or accessories. The only region lock on an Xbox One is for Blu-ray movies.

    As for the TV, you shouldn't have any issues at all with the games.

    If the game is region locked then a code for the game will be region locked. In order to download region locked content, your account region has to match your physical location and you have to be in a region where the game is available.

    Region locks only apply to region locked content

    Yes there are games that are region locked and your accoung region and actual region must match

    Resident evil is one of many region locked content
